About the center
CENAMAD enhances the scientific excellence of forest engineering, bioproducts and timber construction to increase added value and diversity in the timber industry. Their mission is to establish a national center that gathers academic and industrial participants as well as the relevant public to develop cutting-edge research focused on transfer in terms of the valorization of the timber industry, including productivity and sustainability of forestry territory, development of valuable bioproducts and the increase of timber construction as the main strategic driving force of the industry.
