Chile–Sweden Academic Forum (ACCESS)
The platform strengthens joint research collaboration between Chile and Sweden. ACCESS’s annual academic forums are the platform’s main activity, complemented by jointly developed doctoral courses and the CONICYT–STINT Chile–Sweden competitive fund, which provides funding for academic mobility within the framework of collaborative projects.
Chile–Japan Academic Forum
This biennial event is held alternately in Japan and Chile. The academic platform promotes scientific and research collaboration among the participating institutions. The Forum is organized by leading universities in Japan and Chile, including the University of Tokyo, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and the University of Chile. Its main thematic areas are astronomy, natural disasters, engineering and technology, Asian and Latin American studies, and the Pacific Ocean.
Chile–Germany Academic Forum
Established in 2023, this academic platform seeks to strengthen existing ties and foster new collaborations between Chilean and German universities. Participants address a wide range of challenges affecting their respective societies, promoting inter-institutional collaboration and the development of interdisciplinary, science-based solutions. The second Chile–Germany Academic Forum was held in Berlin in June 2025, and a third edition is planned for 2027 in Santiago, Chile.
Chile–France Academic Forum
This forum strengthens cooperation in science and technology, higher education, and international mobility, bringing together representatives from government, research and innovation institutions, and researchers from both countries.
The forum is organized by the University of Chile, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, the Embassy of France, CONICYT, and CRUCH through its Executive Committee, in coordination with a Scientific Committee comprising representatives from the University of Chile, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, IRD, CNRS, INRIA, the ECOS–CONICYT Committee, the University of Concepción, and Universidad Austral de Chile.
