Requests for Institutional Endorsement and Agreement Signatures
Institutional Endorsement
UC faculty members may request institutional endorsement for applications to international funding opportunities disseminated by the Office of Research (DINV) or identified through other sources. To request institutional endorsement, applicants must:
Submit their request at least five business days before the application deadline, together with all required supporting documentation.
Demonstrate the support of their Faculty by submitting the Internal Mandatory Declaration (DOI) signed by the corresponding Dean’s Office. Download the template here.
Complete the Legal Representative Signature Request Form, providing details of the proposed project and the international funding opportunity. Access the online form here.
Notify the Office of Research of the outcome of their application by email at uc_research@uc.cl.
Agreement Signature Request
UC faculty members may request the University’s signature on international research agreements, collaboration agreements, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and other related documents. All agreements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Office of Legal Affairs and often require multiple rounds of revision before approval. As a result, no fixed processing time can be guaranteed.
To request the signature of an agreement, applicants must:

Provide any additional information requested by the Office of Legal Affairs, the Office of Research, or another unit within the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies.
